First off I’d like to give some credit to the dissenting women who are capable of remaining civil.
I respect the voicing of any civilized opinion here even if you already know that many others Men like myself would disagree with it. But because I believe in Free Speech I also believe that we are better Men for addressing some of your points because I am certain that untold millions of other women believe what you do as well.
And I have no problem holding up the TRUTH I know to yours.
In most of the various posts some of you Feminist have been quite “passionate” (and I’m being very diplomatic with this description) with the belief that we Men are advocating the “disempowerment” of women in order to make ourselves feel “empowered”. You are quite mislead by buying into this very old Feminist accusation that any Man who looks outside of his own country to find a relationship is actually a “Weak Man” who needs a “Weaker Woman”
So let me set the record straight and examine the “LOGIC” behind this.. And If you dissenters are capable of rational thought then I promise that we will break apart some nasty little cornerstones of your Ideology.
MYTH 1
A Real Man is “not afraid” to have a relationship with “Strong” Feminist Woman.
TRUTH
- A Real Man would Wisely Choose to REJECT any Woman who is secretly a Competitor against him.
- A Real Man would STAY AWAY from a Feminist no matter how much he may desire to physically be with a woman.
- A Real Man doesn’t give into this and STANDS by His PRINCIPALS even if he is completely surrounded by Feminists.
- A Real Man knows that the sexual organs of a Feminist has no intrinsic value to him and is actually a “huge and dangerous” liability to avoid for many reasons.
- Feminist tagging Men as being “afraid” to be with “strong women” is a very Poor Spin of a Man’s decision to REJECT HER.
- These Feminist “Slants” are a little like a Heroin dealer calling somebody a “Chicken” for not trying his “Product”.
MYTH 2
A Modern or “Progressive” Feminist is a “Strong” Woman.. While a Traditional Russian Woman is “Weak”.
TRUTH
- Russia Women have no significant social, legal or economic protections which By Default makes them Very Strong and Resilient.
- The vast majority of Russian Women who move to the US or the West end up Flourishing there.
- There is NO WAY any American or Western Woman could survive living in Russia alone on any normal basis.
- Because of this Russian Women as a general population Are Much Stronger than any group of Western Feminist.
- Russian Women have NOT Lost their Traditional Feminine IDENTITIES by being Strong. They’ve EMBRACED IT.
- Western Feminist are Hypocritical Bigots for only promoting themselves while cutting down their Russian Sisters.
- Feminist who demonstrate this Bigotry and Hypocrisy against their fellow women don’t even realize that they are painfully revealing the underlying emotion which drives it. And this is the emotion of jealousy..
MYTH 3
Men and the “System of Patriarchy” are responsible for “Dis-empowering” Women.
TRUTH
- Feminist ARE Responsible for Dis-empowering Women by MARGINALIZING a Woman’s GENETIC Role as a Wife and Mother.
- American Women have the most professional and personal “opportunities” in the history of the world which makes them the most privileged class of people ever to walk the face of the earth.
- This is further enforced by Draconian Laws which enforce various legal entitlements that are widely abused against Men.
- Men have NO such legal entitlements in their dealings with Women.
- If Feminist Ideology is to be believed then American and Western Women should be the happiest creatures in history because of their “success” in reshaping Western Society to their own means.
- Significant surveys and studies have concluded that Modern Women are MORE UN-HAPPY NOW then with Women belonging to their Grandmother’s generation who clearly had far less “opportunities” available to them.
- The consumption of Anti-Depressants by American Women such as Lithium and Prozac are the highest in the world and is considered to be a National Health Epidemic for Women.
Now if you are able to NOT go into DENIAL about any of this you might look at these facts and come to the same conclusion that SOMETHING is Seriously Screwed up with Modern Women who believe in Feminism.
And I know what that something is..
AND it has NOTHING to do with a MAN.
It has everything to do with Women allowing their True IDENTITIES to be stolen by Feminism..
But ultimately no one will blame Feminism for the bad choices that a woman makes.. people will just quietly shake their heads and walk away and leave this woman to sit with her own excuses for the rest of her life.
So here’s the deal..
Whether you are a Man or a Woman..
The GREATEST measure of TRUE happiness is the ability to have a purpose..
And here’s the key.. this purpose MUST BE BIGGER then you are. So therefore this purpose can’t be about how self-indulgent you can be scoring EGO points by climbing the corporate ladder or working at McDonalds. This belief alone actually leads women to having the remainder of their lives being empty and depressed. And believe me I’ve met plenty of women like this.
The ULTIMATE and BASE expression of purpose is creating and promoting FAMILY. The well being of your children and your husband and you as a whole is MUCH BIGGER then you are.. Because you are setting into motion things that will affect the very future of your children if not everything they touch within society.
We call this the ripple effect.. And you can CHOOSE to either create a small “splash” in a small dank mosquito filled Swamp.. or a powerful Wave in the Open Ocean..
If you let modern society seduce you into believing that a woman’s true happiness lies in gaining MONEY, POWER and POLITICAL INFLUENCE then you are on a very short emotional road to nowhere.
Do you think that a founding feminist like Gloria Steinem is a happy woman? Well in-case you need to check she’s not.. Old, un-married and completely childless. Women like her who bought into the lie big time are now trapped.
Women like this have to live with the fact that whatever special traits or value they carried in their DNA..
STOPS WITH THEM..
Period.. Gone.. Forever.. No Children.. NO Legacy into the future. When they die.. they TRULY DIE..
You know.. I’ve often wonder what that must feel like as a Woman because it seems so incredibly STRANGE to me..
To actually DENY your biological imperative to procreate, love and nurture your own children. To actually substitute a billion years of natural evolutionary instincts to give everything you have to your kids in exchange for some twisted political ideology.
I personally imagine that it’s a little like a car with no engine.. only in real life it’s far worse.
On some deep level that I cannot possibly fathom as a Man.. this realization must drive a Woman COMPLETELY INSANE. On some level they must realize that the base definition of LIFE ITSELF is to procreate.
EVERY Living Creature on Earth does EVERYTHING it can to procreate and nurture their offspring..
Except for them..
It this isn’t the most tragic story in existence then I don’t know what is..
And the tragedy is only marginally different when Feminist decide to have kids. Either on their own or with their “partner”.. what ever gender that may be.
Deciding to have children and then leaving them out in the cold within the institution of “day care” or with the lonely “latch-key” existence of a child in an empty home breeds it’s own type of tragedy. A tragedy for your karma as a mother and the tragedy of a child who faces the world alone way too early without your presence.
Having a job to survive is one thing… Focusing solely on your “career aspirations” against the welfare of your family is a completely other..
Maybe this TRUTH is so hard to swallow that most Women would rather go deeper into DENIAL about it.
Well Feminism is an absolutely Perfect Vehicle for this because just like with Communism it can only survive if people like them believe in some EXTREMELY BIG LIES.. And in the case of Feminism that LIE would be for Women to proclaim their “Freedom from Motherhood” or their “Liberation from Marriage”.

No further explanation is needed. This article sums up about feminism and how they deceive women and take away their true nature of womanhood and life of happiness.
They think that they are “free” from marriage and being women. In reality, they are being sentenced to the prison of misery and loneliness with no husband while petting their lovely cats. I’m sure that those cats have to endure endless brutal abuses from their angry owners.
Those feminists are really fooling themselves with their own arrogance, selfishness and delusional lies. They are rejecting their true nature of being lady and women. Instead, they become men by cutting their hair so short and act like men. They really don’t know who they really are. They have absolutely no sense of identity.
One analogy to describe the lack of identity… monkeys are really good at climbing trees because they are wired genetically perform that. What if you make the elephant to climb the tree? They can’t do that because they are not wired genetically and by nature to perform that activity. We can relate that to those women.. by taking away their true nature of womanhood and make them to think, work, act, lead like men… the result is that they can’t succeed because they are not wired genetically to perform that kind of work.
They can’t fool Mother Nature. If they keep fooling Mother Nature, they will get very rude and harsh punishments. They will keep suffering and being miserable until they choose to change themselves to become true to Mother Nature. They must know the genetic cards they are given. If they act upon the genetic cards they are being given and serve their true purpose, they can get to have a life of love, happiness, peace and great time.
Every species need nuturers to maintain survival of its own species. It’s all about procreating and producing more species while maintaining its presence on this planet. Ugly women with foul attitude are being left alone to die alone while good and decent men choose ladies who are very beautiful both inside and outside for having kids and good and vibrant family. That’s part of Nature and how humans can keep their own species very beautiful, healthy and vibrant. It’s how healthy species are maintaining themselves.
I hope I am clear when I am explaining about species and how its own population filters out weakest and ugly species itself. It’s part of Mother Nature. May the strongest, most beautiful and healthy species survive for long time.

LL, can you be more specific? What statistics are you talking about and why are they erroneous?
In light of the fact that the American legal system condones testiculare mutilation as a less severe crime than looking at a woman wrong (see http://www.mens-rights.net/tortureissues/testicular.htm ), I suggest that in addition to finding wives in other countries, that we just plain leave and stay in other countries – especially those of us who have the means to support ourselves from the safe distance of a foreign country. Its not just the attitudes of the individual women that is problematic, but the legal system of the United States. Why bring a Russian woman here to this country, when you could stay near her family and avoid both any corrupting attitudes from American culture and save her from homesickness?
How would American women react if they discovered that there is a mass exodus of wealthy middle-aged American men to Russia, where they can support themselves and a family on interest from their savings and various investments? Retire now, and start a family with the woman of your dreams in a male-friendly country.

That’s another double standard non-sense from those feminists. That kind of action is extremely sickening and downright evil and murderous. It’s no questions that those feminists are soulless witches completely devoid of compassion and affection. American women are the most worst creatures ever walking on this planet.
There is NO way I can get married here in the USA. It’s way too much of risk and huge liability. Those American women are way too dangerous to touch. Anything you touch them can get you into big trouble. There’s way too much of bear traps waiting for men to step into. The whole legal system is extremely biased against men. The USA is permanently continuing its slow death spiral unless there’s big changes or overhaul of the whole government.
Also, I rightfully refuse to have a family here in the USA. I don’t want to bring my kids to a very sick and pathetic American culture. I’d rather to raise kids in a foreign country with a very healthy and vibrant culture such as Russia. If I have a daughter, I prefer her to become a REAL and beautiful lady who inspires to be a great wife and mother. The environment where kids are raised is very imporatant. I’d rather to be in a society where families are valued so much and families help each other. I am just very concerned about kids’ welfare and quality of life for family.
That’s exacly the strategy that I would think about… live off my savings and investments in Russia. The good thing about that is you can be able to have American-level income while living in Russia where the cost of living is so cheap except for Moscow. Also, I read somewhere that you don’t pay any USA taxes if you earn income up to $80,000 in a foreign country.
However, it poses a big challenge for someone in their early 20′s like myself. I’m just getting started. The only good thing about the USA is political stability and business opportunities to make good money. Social and family life in the USA… jeez, forget it! So, I am thinking starting your own business while live so cheaply and save lots of money for future living and investments may be the most viable option. If I can find any opportunities to work overseas, I’m open to that.
For now, I just have visit Russia first to get my impression of the country and see if I would feel comfortable about working and living there. If I do, I can do anything I can to leave the USA.
Myself, I always wanted to build log homes. I love log homes so much. I can build wealth through that way and other businesses.

Okay, these are only some of the ones I was able to remember off-hand. I have a list of them, except they are back at my dormroom and I am home now, so I had to remember the ones I wrote down from memory.
Honestly, I can tell you why these “facts” are misleading, but my response would be literally a book. What I would recommend is to read Christina Hoff Sommer’s book ‘Who Stole Feminism’. It helps to explain a lot of this.

I would also like to add that I was strolling through a feminist forum one time and one conversation did catch my eye. These women were saying how men were going to other countries to find wives and that, in the near future, about 25 percent of all american men will be married to foreign wives. I don’t know how true it is though, so i won’t be able to go to court with that statistic. I just found it interesting.

I know one spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially fit American man who is taking the route LL is suggesting. I am done, no more.

I will be married this year to a beautiful Russian woman that I have known for over a year now. I could go on about her, but it might get boring.
Ok, maybe a little bit – she is 26, about to turn 27. I am 44. She is physically beautiful. I really do think she could be a model without any trouble, even now. No question she could have a few years ago. I speak from experience in this area, not just as some guy who loves his fiancée (which I do). She really could have been a model. She also has a daughter who could not be more adorable. 1.5 years old. Sadly, the father is not in the picture for a host of reasons I won’t go into here.
Physical beauty fades so beyond that and far more important is who she is as a person. Contrary to the woman/mangina run media in the US, men don’t leave their devoted wives for something younger. I don’t know any men who do or did that. They leave because their wives are a horror show. Far easier to say “he left me for someone younger” than “he left me because I am a train wreck of a human being”.
A woman who gives me her best physical years means I stay with her. Most men think that way. I am not going to leave a loving wife for some young chick down the road. Of course beautiful young women are nice to look at, but that is all. There is no real connection there.
The only thing that my fiancée really cares about is her family. She is highly educated with a technical degree. Not some worthless womyns studies degree.
She defines herself by her family. It is amazing to me; I still can’t get over her approach to life and to me.
When I am upset, she is upset.
Let that sink in a second and get a visual picture of that. All I can say is such women exist.
Now, I will be the first to tell you Russia is rife with so many problems you can’t list them all. HOWEVER, I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that men (and women) have more rights in Russia than the US. Less political freedom, but beyond that you are pretty much free to do what you want within very reasonable limits.
Our founding fathers (you know those great oppressors) would not recognize the US today. I believe they would leave and set up another country somewhere.
I am leaving, I have started to now seriously investigate the ‘how’ and ‘where’. I have enough ‘whys’. I once loved America, I served 20 years in its military, but I really don’t recognize it anymore. I am sort of through that grieving process now, time to move on.
We should have a serious discussion about the pros and cons of becoming a citizen of another country, especially if it involves renouncing US citizenship.

The reason we Men all have romantic notions of the the Old West was because of the Freedom and the Opportunity it openly provided. You were completely on your own but you also had complete freedom. Certainly a time and place where Men were Men and Women were Women.

Oh and by the way.. Please don’t renounce your US citizenship.. It’s one of the most valuable things you will ever have because you have the freedom to travel with it. RW_MAN, we have to quit referring to this as FEMINISM, it is all about the MASCULINIZATION OF WOMEN. This is what we all so viscerally reject! It is instinctivly repulsive; we all use a variety of intellectual constructs to justify our position but fundamentally this is the on-going process.
A woman can be intelligent, educated, professional, witty, not a pushover at all (someone noted that the Russian women are quite a bit stronger emotionally than the Americans). Yet she can still be absolutely FEMININE.
I repeat that American women bought the argument that it is a man’s world and in order to succeed they have to act like men. They have FORGOTTEN what it is like to be feminine. I can point you to numerous “feminist” sites where femininity is equated with weakness and all of the references to it are NEGATIVE. This is a cultural abberation. We are confronted with a social sickness. Male nature has not changed in 50,000 years, so how can we hold men responsible for the social breakdown?
Once I got outside the US and saw real feminine women, I could NEVER go back, ever.

I have to agree with Rule62: I am now living in a communist country but I feel more free here than at home. I don’t worry about my career being ruined by telling a tasteless joke to a hyper-sensitized female. Travelling overseas, sometimes little shit happens like car insurance expires or a payment is late. These become HUGE issues in the US: a credit union basically shit all over my excellent credit rating because I was late 1 payment…after being a good customer for 15 years! I get hassled by cops far more in the US than I do anywhere else IN THE WORLD. If I get tired and sleep in my car, I am treated like a goddam criminal (driving tired is one of the most dangerous things you can do!)
I don’t think Americans realize how throughly they have become regulated. Fear of lawsuits has crippled the economy and life in general. Michael Moore was right in Bowling for Columbine: is is a country governed by fear.
A big part of the freedom here is economic: in the US a trip to the doctor is ruinous if you are uninsured (and you have to pay $500 a month for insurance…lordy, I could live on $500 a month here!) I go to the market and buy bags full of fresh meat fruits and vegetables for 5-7 dollars, back home I buy a half-dozen trivial items and I’ve shot $20.
The female situation in the US is enough to seal the deal. I see (and I look constantly) very few women I consider attractive. Growing up in the US I thought this was just the natural state of affairs. Women in the US behave as if they are in a state of siege. Women here are OPEN: you look at them. they look at you, you smile at them they smile at you. Once you get used to that, there’s no going back to the old bullshit of having to run the gauntlet to meet a woman. And the average weight has SKYROCKETED. I like a little padding, but obesity (like smoking) just says “I HAVE NO SELF-RESPECT”.
In the US, a “REAL” man sacrifices his life for the women and children; I hear this from the men as well as the women. In return they feel little need to sacrifice anything for him. In order for me to have stayed in that deal, I would have had to kill off a big part of my true self. This is what I see American men doing in droves. It was a bullshit choice I was offered: stay in my cage and keep my home and family, or be REAL: be who I really am, and go into exile.
I CHOSE EXILE.
Russia went through a big divorce siege in the early 20′s. They also don’t have stupid alimony and child support as weapons to use against their ex’s.
My buddy had one child, the court ordered him to pay 850 a month. He had just put his ex wife through school and she was making 400 bucks a day. Now with interest he owes the state massive amounts of money. All for one child he never gets to see. He is looking at jail time now.
Another story about buddies brother. He had 3 children with a woman. She left him for another man, the courts ordered him to pay 2,000/month. Well he lost his good paying job because the company went under. He got a job paying 2,000 a month. He couldn’t see his children if he got to far behind. He stopped eating well, he actually stopped right to pay the money and see his children once a month. He was a smoker, and it caught up to him at 36. He got lung cancer and was told he had 6 months to live. Well on his death bed that skank brought the children, and her now boyfriend, the last thing he saw was that asshole!!
Yep, people, the laws need to change. Our country will bring out the dogs for a missing 8 year old, yet they will create a system that does this to a man! A man that loved his family dearly. His only mistake was divorcing his cheating wife. Which is a bad move, and I probably would have stayed married to her and let her cheat. In fact I have one child, and I don’t care what my wife does. What am I going to do leave? Pay all that money? Not on your life!

That is why the winning move is not to get married in the first place, and not to get an American woman pregnant. The winning move is treat them they way a soldier would treat an unexploded bomb shell, or missile he found lying on the ground, namely don’t touch and steer clear of it. Likewise, American men should not enage in any sort of hands on with American women, unless they live for danger. It’s not worth the risk to one’s mental, or physical well being, let alone one’s freedom. Since nobody else will stand up for the average man, it’s time for average man to stand together and relentlessly, inexorably DEMAND changes be made. It’s either standing together, or continuing to hang separately one at a time.

You’ve really nailed a feeling that I’ve had for a long time living here as well.
The difference between personal and political freedom.
In the US technically we are politically free to expose out views but only withing certain realms of narrowly defined topics. If we cross this line then we are easily tagged with any number of labels that is designed to shame and cower us.
Now in terms of day to day personal freedoms.. As much as I love my country I think the US has become a completely Orwellian environment and it’s only going to get much worse. You are absolutely right when you talk about economic freedom and the perception that everyone has to maintain certain standards economically in order to be recognized as being “normal”.
Credit ratings, health insurance, Car insurance, Life insurance, IRA plans, Pensions, Income Taxes and more.. In one form or another we are dealing with mechanisms that are designed to restrain your range of thinking and actions within life. They are supposed to help by being your “life support” in a modern society but as we know from history this always comes at a cost of eating away at some aspect of your personal freedom. You cannot have both.. It’s either one or the other. Freedom and Responsibility on one side.. Vs.. Dependency and Enslavement on the other.
Guess which direction we are heading into..

As tragic as those stories are concerning your friends thank you very much for sharing them with all of us. I hope that at the very least their own experiences can serve as an example to help other Men make the right decisions in life.
Divorce is truly the “killer event” in a Man’s life in the US.
I openly wonder what the percentages are for Men who are able to recover from it vs. those who don’t. Even if they are lucky enough to do this it takes such a long time for most men to move on and to find greener pastures as well.

I have bordered on banckrupcy for near a year and finally am beginning to see light. I supported the ex through ALL her failed attempts at jobs and whims. Now with the state job she has unlimited opportunities for overtime and the best benefits in the USA for her and her boyfriend.
I paid for her vehicle through the whole divorce thing, she has the house free and clear and still tells my kids how bad she was treated. Still she gets $500 a month with NO responsibility where it goes. This system sucks and speaking of being raped and dropped for the gutter, I hope the sexist female judge rots in hell where she belongs.
Other than that life goes on and I will survive to find happiness. I appreciate this support area so much and it gives spirit to my hope.

JR, more Americans than you know are well aware just how much they’re being strangled economically and spiritually too. That is why homicide, suicide, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, stress related ailments and other social and health problems are worsening among men. More and more men are waking up to the reality that the United States is swiftly turning into the Fourth Reich. Just look at all the Nazistic legislation that’s been enacted recently.

Divorce is indeed a killer event in a man’s life RW-Man. I should know, I been through one, and I do not care to go through that again. It is indeed a death of sorts, death of one’s hopes and dreams. It’s up there with the death of your spouse or child when it comes to wreaking havoc upon your person. Just as more than a few do not survive loss of their spouses, many men do not survive divorce, finanically or in all too many cases, literally.

RW Man, you are absolutely right. As I write on my spot, Marxist feminism and Classical Liberalism are not the same: in fact they are mutually exclusive.
Both Marx and the feminist thinkers attacked our traditional Democracy BECAUSE in Classical Liberalism, there was a clearly defined separation between public and private life, in which the government could not intrude. But with Marxist Feminism, the “Personal is the Political”, and so the government has the justification to enforce legislation such as VAWA, No fault divorce, DV laws, and the like.
Feminism has no legitimacy, as it is diametrically opposed to our Constitution and our Bill of Rights.

But to qoute a Guess Who song, “American Woman,” I’ve got better things to do, than grow old prematurely with a woman who is out for herself, and herself only. I’ve been married, and now I’m divorced because I left her after one too many betrayals. A bomb, missile or mine lying on the ground that didn’t explode when it should has neither loyalty, nor discrimination. All too many American women are no different, and thus are unexploded ordnance lying in wait for unwary men. Sorry, I call it like I see it. Call me what you like, it changes nothing to insult me, except give me someone to laugh at.

Pages 7 and 8 talk about the numbers of people who declined to be surveyed, with the highest being Japan at 33%.
It strikes me that this report might be suffering from Adverse selection… that the majority of the persons with potentially good sex lives chose not to participate due to cultural and religious reasons, leaving those who have an axe to grind and or who were more “open” to conduct the survey.
Not every region of the world is as open about sex as the West is. Some countries (Japan especially) don’t have much sex because of long working hours and afterhours drinking and socializing with colleagues. Conservative religious practices also minimize the importance of sex.
P.18 speaks to the level of physical activity and sexual desire.
Cross cultural surveys like these should be be taken with a grain of salt.
I don’t think this survey indicates problems with “Patriarchy”, but differences in cultural outlooks, religious beliefs, and priorities.
In essence Marie, I remain skeptical that these researches have proven that Feminized societies are better than Patriarchal. It seems to tell me that people who work hard and have a more conservative outlook on life than We westerners have less sexual satisfaction, especially among women.

And–the REAL reason why some American men want to marry Russian women is simply because Russian women are simple-minded. I don’t mean “stupid”–I mean “shallow.” Russian women are mentally no deeper than a puddle. They are as uncomplicated as a guernsey cow. Cows are happy to chew cuds, mate with bulls, have calves and stand in pastures. Cows do not expect to accomplish great things, nor do they expect anything at all from the bull that mounts them. They are socialized to believe that the woman is the one who gives all and that the man is not supposed to give anything. Marriage is the ONLY important thing in life to Russian women because of the way they are aculturated. Education is not; personal improvement is not; ambition and betterment is not. Russian women are taught from birth that any woman who is not married and a mother by age 25 is an old maid destined for the knacking block. Therefore, they will do anything to avoid what they believe to be a “fate worse than death–” being single. Corollary is that they are taught to be dependent on a man for everything and not to be self-sufficient at all. American men who marry Russian women know that they have the upper hand in the relationship physically, financially and emotionally. She is fully dependent and completely helpless. Even if the man is a domineering rat she cannot walk away. Fear of losing the “valuable” position of wife, and possibly her children paralizes her. Her culture teaches her that the this is a “Man’s World” and that woman’s fate is to “suffer in silence,” and this she does.
I don’t believe that American men who marry Russian women are weak per se; I believe that they simply want a weak and captive person who can be bent to their whim. American women, on the other hand, are aculturated to believe that they have human rights. We believe that the “Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness” mentioned in the Declaration are as much ours as anyone elses. American women know that they deserve an equal share in life and rightfully expect to stand beside their men, not walk behind them. American women want MORE out of life than to be “happy washing the kitchen floor,” and they expect their husbands to make them happy. Yes, American women EXPECT their men to be responsible members of the family and to pull some of the weight of childrearing and housekeeping. Russian women expect their lot in life to be making the husband happy even if they themselves are living in hell. The simple fact is that American men who don’t want to live up to anyone’s expectations and who want to have kids but not be involved in the day to day problems of raising them marry Russian (or Asian)women. With a Russian wife, you can then be a physical slob and still harass your wife for gaining a single pound after having the baby. You can have child after child and force your wife (by using her own cultural guilt against her) to put up with endless childrearing and housekeeping chores while you do nothing at all but sit in your easy chair after work.

Not a flame or a rant. I simply posted information from the US Government warning Russian women who are anticipating marriage to American men of their rights.
For example, under the new law “marriage brokers” must conduct full credit and criminal background checks on all men who apply to meet women from other countries for the purpose of marriage. You see, there have been numerous abuses and “unfortunate incidents” surrounding these sorts of marriages to the point where reports were made to the United States Congress. In January 2006, President Bush signed a certain little special law.
I applaud my president and appreciate you do as well brensgrrl. I have nothing to hide or fear from any checks they have.
There are certainly cases of this all over the world and there is no reason or logical explanation for these things.
I have never beaten a woman nor abused that I know of. But I have been on the recieving end many times. I am glad you understand that if such is the case, then seek elsewhere, which has brought me here.
It’s nice to meet an American woman who has such compassion and understanding of female abuse to men, and I applaud your advise, I will be happy someday and I feel certain it will be with a lovely and cultured lady from overseas.

Brensgirl, you know nothing about Russia, the Ukraine or their people. I do, because I am half Ukrainian and Russian. Russian women are anything but weak, if they were, I would not exist literally. My grandparents and my father would have died with millions of others at the hands of the Nazis if my grandmother was weak as you put it. My grandmother was Russian and she was anything but weak. Russian women are nothing like American women, in every respect. They have to be, because I know for a fact Russian men would not be your cup of tea. Revulsion.. Sorry but there is no culture in the world that would like to get near that. Instead they all do the correct thing and BURY it in the ground..
You then quoted a Psychology Today review of a book I actually have owned and read called “Wedded Strangers”.. this book by the way was one of the most poorly written books I can imagine on cross cultural marriages since it was actually a bad autobiography of the female author’s own experience with being married to a Russian Man.
Are you trying to pull a fast one on us by suggesting that there are hordes of foreign men who are eager to Marry American Women because of this one Woman’s experience?

Well I am going to go out on a limb here. I think both sexes have their villians and heros. Not all women are feminists and not all men are facists pigs. Do I believe some men and women are evil and are undermining the fabric of society, a resounding yes. It wasn’t feminism or NOW’s doctrine that made me want an education and wait on having kids. It was my own father that broke that sanctity and structure of the sacred bond of marriage. To say he belittled and drove my mom like a work horse would be un understatment. Do I blame most men, NO. Do I pity him and him alone as the loan perpetrator, YES. I mean how does a young black girl get out of a situation like that. Invest in prince charming. What man I thought would want, what statistics show that I was destined for? A poor uneducated black woman was sure to land an educated kind man, sure and he would be bringing his glass slipper?…So I became self made with an education and groomed myself to have a class that was never taught and exposed to me in my world. Yes I have a great man in my life, but I eanred that priviliage by changing myself and modling myself. I guess the moral of this study is that life is yours and no matter what you can’t save everyone. But you are still indeed the master of your destiny. So everyone, quit complaining and just live and love to the best you can.

Certainly not all men are perfect. But in general between 80-85% of divorces are filed by women. Not to say your dad didn’t fit in the 15% of men that file.
Personally I think marriage in America sucks. Women do not respect the fathers of their children. In general they are contentious, nagging, and continually trying to change the father of their children.
We still have all the traditional roles of being married. Paying the bills, fixing the car, paying the medical bills, health insurance etc. Then our wives want us to clean the house, do the laundry, wake up with the child, despite the fact that a man works 50 hrs a week outside the home, compared to women who average 36 hrs a week outside the home.
How is that equal!! I don’t ever want to be married in America again!
When I was single I dated many women. I paid all my bills on time. In general was happy. In fact my bills were paid ahead of time.
Now I am married and trapped! If I leave I have to pay $$$$!!
Everyday I lament the fact that I met this woman, I pretend that the day I met her I actually went a different direction!

I have had the biggest pleasure meeting his family members. The women in his family are perhaps the most intelligent, hard working, and serene I have ever met. They are middle aged now, but they are still beautiful and gracefully aged! His mother used to be a head scientist for a Canadian company. But she is SO FEMININE, and so gracious, treats me like a daughter and I will always be grateful for her.
To her, she has a good job but her biggest career and project is her family. Such a role model to follow, and I can not wait to experience life with my favourite man in the world in Russia. We plan on moving there in a few years time.

I think you pretty much nailed it. I haven’t read that statistic but if 1 in 4 marriages by Men in the US is to a Foreign Woman then I think that’s fantastic.
A 25% take away hit in the pool of available US Men for US Women would hopefully wake some of them up and push the bad ones right off the cliff of loneliness and isolation.
As cruel as this sounds at this point in history I think that is exactly what’s needed for Western Society to correct itself and right the ship so that it can survive and move forward.

Personally, I believe the United States and many other western nations too are in a terminal death dive like the one that took Titanic and 1,500 people with her to the bottom. The only option is getting off this sinking wreck before it pulls us down with it. The U.S. is collapsing demographically, economically, socially and culturally. Take away the hordes of illegal aliens and the contraction of the native population would be painfully clear. Look through the smoke and mirrors called the corporate propaganda machine and the contraction of the economy like collapsing compartments aboard a sinking ship is very apparent. Until recently i was living in ignorance of the implications of the Weminist doctrine even as i saw it gain pace in our culture. Exposure to blogs such as these helped awaken me from my stupor enough to spread the message to every Girl and Lady i know – Be Vigilant Ladies – The Lovelies that have destroyed 40 generations of the fine Christian culture in mere 4 decades have us marked… Guns everyone. NOW. If only to protect the finest of our Patriarchy. The men who are willing to lay their lives for our honor. Who build their lives around their wives and children, who shy from no sacrifice that needs to be made in the interests of their wives or kids. Who are only as much interested in their careers as is needed to better the lives of those that love them and not for their Strong egos that bear no scars of war with their Lovelies.Who are Self-Effacing in the interest of their wives and offspring to an extent approaching the Father above ……Oh how i love belonging to the Fatherhood of my Great Indian Men ….as opposed to the Sisterhood of Hypocrites who spare no excuse or opportunity to insult or mock women from other races for their OWN Choices that betray the Commandments of self-service.
One can sacrcely believe the adjectives these ” Intellectual Empowered women use to describe women who are treated like Queens by their Husbands – as a reward for treating them like MEN —

pure and absolute truth…anyone who contests surely must be deep deep deep in denial.
While I know brensgrrls posts were long ago, I couldn´t help to feel that she really illustrated perfectly why we don´t want to marry or even be in a relationship with a girl like her.
I view a relationship like a country. The man and the woman is that country, they are a team. One side of the country may be specialized in education, the other in healthcare. They care for the country as a whole, and not just one part of it. They work together to create the best country they possibly can, and for the country to expand and live on (procreating and raising good children).
She writes things like “American men who marry Russian women know that they have the upper hand in the relationship physically, financially and emotionally.”, “Even if the man is a domineering rat she cannot walk away”, “I believe that they simply want a weak and captive person who can be bent to their whim.” and “With a Russian wife, you can then be a physical slob and still harass your wife for gaining a single pound after having the baby. It reminds me of the Soviet – Nazi Germany relations before Germany broke the Molotov-Ribbentrop-pact and invaded Soviet. Some state of being “friends” until one backstabs the other and it is only a question of when it happens and who attacks first, both readying themselves for the event.
These assumtions, this anger and the selfishness it leads to cannot create anything but civil war, and ultimately the hateful division of the country.
