Women's Day is Coming. Be Ready.

03/06/2008
By

This Saturday.. March 8th Gentlemen.

MAKE SURE you congratulate EVERY Russian Woman or FSU Lady that you know and simply tell her the following..

“Congratulations and Happy Woman’s Day!”

(Carefully notice the sincere joy and appreciation that is returned to you with something so simple as this.)

OK that’s the bare minimum to start with.

Now the actual tradition usually has Men volunteering to do the cooking and cleaning for one day along with a affectionate dose of flowers, gifts or a dinner date at some nice restaurant.

But whatever you do keep in mind that for a Russian Woman this day is BIGGER and MORE IMPORTANT then even Valentines Day.

If there are no men around then the women will congratulate themselves with their own little party and sometimes give gifts to each other. This is very typical in any workplace where there are mostly women present.

Any man present in this situation is expected to play the role of the host who will keep their glasses filled and their plates occupied with fruit slices, cakes or other sweets. Vodka, Cognac and Wine are also very popular drinks during this event as well and frequent glowing toasts are given towards each other in honor of these great, humble and incredibly hardworking ladies.

The women in this gathering may even ask any gentlemen present to serenade them with a traditional song.

Many Russian men already know this so on this day you might see any number of men carrying guitars to their workplace or offices.

On more then a few occasions I’ve been personally asked to sing to a group of Russian Ladies for Woman’s Day and I was more then happy to oblige them.

They certainly deserve it and this is the time when you put any possible feelings of embarrassment or awkwardness aside and give them your heart and soul.

So if you really want to surprise the heck out of your Russian Lady on Woman’s Day..

Sing for her.

Believe me.. You will probably be more surprised at the genuine warmth and appreciation that is returned right back at you.

If this sounds “old fashioned” in anyway well then let me just be completely unapologetic and say.

“Yes it is..”

Because if you want a “Traditional Woman” in your life then be prepared to do a few things to be that “Traditional Man” that she is looking for too.

The best relationships I’ve seen happens when the man and woman can both operate on this traditional level and show deep gratitude and respect towards each other for it.

I’ve often said that coming to Russia is like stepping into a time machine..

As with all things it has it’s pluses and minuses.

But as far as the local Women are concerned you’d have to be pretty blind not to see the overwhelming benefits that “going back” to this time presents.

So on that note..

Let me just say that it’s my sincere wish for all of you Gentlemen to have this experience because I know that you will be forever changed by it.

I believe that you will feel the biggest impact when you realize that you have touched a beautiful and longing woman’s heart with your kindness and sincerity.

And perhaps this is the real purpose and meaning behind Woman’s Day.

In any case I believe that if you do this then at some point in your life you will look back at this adventure and quietly think to yourself.

“A happier and simpler time indeed.”

Here’s a song (by Tal Bachman) for all those lovely Russian ladies:

    She’s blood flesh and bone
    No tucks or silicone
She’s touch, smell, sight, taste, and sound
    But somehow I can’t believe
    That anything should happen
    I know where I belong
    And nothin’s going to happen

    Cause she’s so high
    High above me
    She’s so lovely
    She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite
    d-d-d-da da
she’s so high– high above me

    First class and fancy free
    She’s High Society
She’s got the best of everything
What could a guy like me ever really offer
She’s perfect as she can be
    Why should I even bother

    Cause she’s so high
    High above me
    She’s so lovely
    She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aphrodite
    She’s so high
    High above me

She calls to speak to me
    I freeze immediately
Cause what she says sounds so unreal
    Cause somehow I can’t believe
    That anything should happen
    I know where I belong
    And nothin’s going to happen
    hey-hey yeah yeah

    Cause she’s so high
    High above me
    She’s so lovely
    She’s so high
Like Cleopatra, Joan of Arc, or Aprhodite
    oh yeh – yehh
    she’s so high
    high above me

:) Great lyrics.. Thanks for the contribution Hero..

“congratulate themselves”? You lost me on that one. Congratulate for …?

  4. -Josh- on 03/06/2008 at 11:58 pm

Hey RW, thanks for the awesome post! When you sing a song to them, does it have to be in Russian? Lastly, can it be any song?

  5. Luke Skywalker on 03/07/2008 at 1:47 am

I hate to rain on your parade, but where I come from, International Women’s Day is a day long man-bashing event where all the radical feminists come out and scream about how men oppress women, and all men are rapists, and all men are abusers, other scum like that. That’s what happens on International Women’s day for me, and if it so happens that the day intersects with Spring Break (like it does this year), then the feminists simply have it on another day and call that day “International Women’s Day Observed” (like they will this year).

So because of that, when you tell me to give women songs and presents on International Women’s day (and frankly it doesn’t matter to me if they’re Russian), I feel a little bit like a Jew who’s being told to give Germans songs and presents on the anniversary of Hitler’s rise to power. Ain’t gonna happen.

I respect Russian women, but even higher on my list of priority and respect are all the men who have been denied their rights in this country since the 70′s when the politicians in this country jumped on the radical feminist bandwagon. So in conclusion, I refuse to celebrate any woman until all those men have their basic rights back.

  6. Tom on 03/07/2008 at 3:36 am

Luke has given us the standard angry man rant: ALL women this and that, we should get even with politicians by punishing innocent women (and in a totally different country, no less), blah, blah, blah.

But these types of unthinking generalizations shouldn’t matter to a man worthy of one of these beautiful and wonderful Russian women.

We are here to find a woman who will inspire us to find ways to celebrate her explicitly and often. So Women’s Day just makes things a bit easier this week.

And, Luke, if you get you rights back, but destroy the sweet, warm, gentle, kind-hearted and feminine women in the process, what exactly will you have gained?

  7. rw_man on 03/07/2008 at 3:51 am

    Hi Peregrine John,

It’s easy to get confused on this because the word “Congratulations” or “Sprasnicom” in Russian is more freely given in this culture especially for well known holidays, anniversaries and birthdays.

So for example on July 4th a close friend Russian Friend of mine told me, “Congratulations on your country’s Independence Day!”

Or if it’s your birthday they will say..

    “Congratulations on your Birthday!”

And then you usually end up taking a few shots of vodka as dictated by local custom.

Now on a personal note I generally don’t like alcohol but refusing this “Congratulations” during any significant social occasion is considered a major insult here. So just take the shot and make sure your stomach is filled with food and always eat the sliced lemon wedges or pickles they pass around afterwards which helps to neutralize the booze.

Anyways make sure you are fast and loose around any Russian or FSU women with the congratulations. :)

  8. rw_man on 03/07/2008 at 3:54 am

    Hi Josh,

Thanks for the compliment.. No it can just as easily be any English song. In fact popular and old English songs are sung here all the time. “Yesterday” by the Beatles is the most well known example of this. But anything with a little heart and emotion will do just fine. GL

  9. rw_man on 03/07/2008 at 4:12 am

    Luke,

I don’t recall writing this post to be a guideline for what to do in the US during Women’s Day do you?

If you ever had the opportunity to be in Russia or the FSU on this day I wonder how the local women would react to your boycott of their traditional celebration.

I respect what you are trying to champion Luke but you need to learn to have other tools at your disposal to get the job done besides just carrying a hammer by your side. More importantly.. You need to know when to use it when not to.. GL

  10. -Josh- on 03/07/2008 at 7:49 am

Haha, that’s great. Thanks man, I look forward to your next one!

  11. doamna on 03/07/2008 at 2:07 pm

With that attitude, Luke, I think you’ll be a womanless man for a long time. Just my take.

I’m not going to let my generalizations about any one group ruin what I enjoy and respect in one individual who happens to be a member of a certain group.

  12. Hero on 03/07/2008 at 3:04 pm

Actually, it may not be as hard as you think to learn a song in Russian. I can easily memorize and sing songs in German, even when I don’t know what they mean. On the other hand, Russian may be 100 times harder.

  13. Peregrine John on 03/07/2008 at 4:28 pm

Ah, I see. So in practice “Sprasnicom” works out something more like, “Cheers!” or “Here’s to you!”

  14. Hero on 03/07/2008 at 4:58 pm

Hey GL, maybe for your next business project, you should open up a karaoke restaurant over there, so guys can sing to their girlfriends. Just a thought.

  15. Jacque LeMoose on 03/08/2008 at 1:46 am

Thank you as usual for the sage advice Ken.
    Right on as ever.
    :)

  16. Luke Skywalker on 03/08/2008 at 2:28 am

Folks, I don’t mean to start up an argument. And I wouldn’t even be on here right now bothering all of you if it really wasn’t that extreme. But the fact is that what happens on Women’s day here, especially if you’re at a college, university, is really, really extreme.

And in fact I wouldn’t be poking the bear again by writing another comment on here about it were it not for Tom and Manoah putting words in my mouth that I never said.

Luke has given us the standard angry man rant: ALL women this and that, we should get even with politicians by punishing innocent women (and in a totally different country, no less), blah, blah, blah.

I didn’t say that at all. I said that a lot of Western men have to sit through some really terrible man-bashing on that day, and thus it’s understandable from that point of view why they wouldn’t want to celebrate it.

And, Luke, if you get you rights back, but destroy the sweet, warm, gentle, kind-hearted and feminine women in the process, what exactly will you have gained?

That question can be turned right back on its head. What will be gained if we cow men into celebrating a day which was designed to bash them and advance the feminist agenda. I think that will have a destructive effect upon men, don’t you?

Oh, and if you folks don’t believe me about all this, then you can have a look at their website. Not their USA website. Not their Western world website. Their website website:
    xhttp://www.internationalwomensday.com/picture_gallery.asp

You can see where they have the whole “stop violence against women” thing going on, which we all know is feminist codespeak for “start man bashing against men”.

And look at their links page with all the feminist organizations which are supporting them: xhttp://www.internationalwomensday.com/organisations1.asp

And also on the same website it talks about how the day itself was invented by first wave feminists. I really don’t know how to make it any clearer.

Now I’m going to leave now because I know when you guys get your hearts set on something I can wave my hands around till kingdom come and even if I have a mountain of evidence it won’t do me any good.

  17. Tom on 03/08/2008 at 6:22 am

    Luke,

I also respect what you are trying to champion. And I don’t dispute that feminists are doing all of the bad things that you have described, and probably many more.

But women are NOT the enemy!

And there are many intelligent and articulate women who are presenting your message in a calm and effective way. For example, Christina Hoff Sommers, in her books “Who Stole Feminism?: How Women Have Betrayed Women” and “The War Against Boys: How Misguided Feminism Is Harming Our Young Men.”

There are many young women who think like Christina, and they need you to be kind and supportive, especially since they are being cheated and harmed as well. Have you taken the time to notice the ones who are not bashing you?

By flailing about in anger and blaming those who are not responsible, you just lend credence to the feminist propaganda. And you hurt the women who are your natural allies, the ones who end up being bashed by both you and the feminists.

You should think very carefully about what you will need in order to create the world that you desire. Will you want to have “sweet, warm, gentle, kind-hearted and feminine women” there? Where do you think they are now? And what are you doing to them?

Nobody is suggesting that you or anyone else should be cowed into celebrating the feminists who are bashing you. But you need to deal with people, including women, as individuals, and very diligently consider their mindset and motivations. Or do you support the feminist methodology of generalizing and extrapolating to all men?

Being unkind to women who are not responsible for the current situation will not hasten the return of basic rights to men.

I don’t dispute what you have been describing. But none of that applies to the women, in the US, in the West, in Siberia, sitting next to you in math class, for whom this holiday has a completely different meaning and significance.

They already have the mindset that you would want women to have after you have won. Wouldn’t it be a good idea to celebrate them and make them happy that they are on your side now?

    Tom

    Luke,
Your posts remind me of Don Quixote – the story of an elderly gentleman who has delusions of grandeour of being a knight, and rushes off on foolhardy missions. One of which is that he mistakes a line of windmills for an army of giants, waving their arms to block the way and bar all passers. So, being a brave knight he challenges them and jousts with them. He promptly gets his lance caught in a vane and gets dehorsed, but confides in his squire that there must be a very clever magician nearby, who turned the giants into windmills at the last moment.

Feminism is a weapon used to divide and conquer and it is implemented by higher and more sinister powers. Expand your awareness and look at the entire situation and not just what you can accomplish in the next move.

  20. socon on 03/08/2008 at 2:22 pm

Mike is right…. The Luke’s of the world as as much a product of the Feminist/NWO conspiracies as the feminazis are. They contribute to the same social and moral breakdown we see every day.

Doamna: What’s going on with your blog??

  21. Mick on 03/08/2008 at 5:11 pm

    Maybe this will help…

“Feminism a weapon it is. Higher and more sinister powers implement to divide and conquer they will. Your awareness expand and at the entire situation look and not just in the next move what you can accomplish.”

May the force be with you Don Quixote.

  24. Luke Skywalker on 03/09/2008 at 12:08 am

Talk about Don Quixote and the windmills, the biggest example of Don Quixote and the windmills I’ve ever seen on here is Rexpat, who (still) thinks he’s going to save the world from all the conspiracy theory “windmills” that he’s drempt up, and lesser examples of that would be Wolverine, who is dreaming up conspiracy theory windmills, and now Socon’s dreaming up some windmills, too. Because Socon’s singing the “NWO” tune now, and that’s nothing but a great big conspiracy theory windmill.

  25. wolverine on 03/09/2008 at 2:26 am

Luke, do you ever get tired of losing fights on the grounds of rationalle?? In a forum where you and masc man can’t throw around insults till the other quits and you can call it a victory?? Honestly, I think I’ve seen pins with more intelligence.

  26. Luke Skywalker on 03/09/2008 at 3:48 am

A good basic measure of who wins and loses debates, Wolverine, is which side makes the most correct points vs. incorrect points. If you’re talking about losing debates, you all are the biggest losers by that measure because you constantly appeal to these conspiracies which have been disproven time and time again.

  27. Luke Skywalker on 03/09/2008 at 3:54 am

Or in many cases rather than being disproven, they’re so outlandish that they can never be proven nor disproven, but you appeal to them anyway as if they were fact, and you lose debates by doing that. You think you win and the other person loses, but it’s obvious to everyone but you that by framing your side of the debate around appealing to these ridiculous unprovable things, you are the loser and your opponent is the winner.

  28. wolverine on 03/09/2008 at 4:36 am

“conspiracies which have been disproven time and time again.”
With your constant denial of the so called conspiracies that I ‘constantly appeal’ to, I’m starting to wonder if you and masc aren’t part of the conspiracy, and try to cover it up.
As for correct points, I haven’t seen you come up with more than a very small handful (if it could be called that). You just keep on spouting off with the 1 or 2 you have, and keep calling them correct points.

  29. wolverine on 03/09/2008 at 4:39 am

You know, for all your complaining about Rexpat, I think that you’re jelous of one major thing that he has that you’re so far from getting-happiness. A bitter guy like you has to be so unhappy that feminists would be inspired to sing joyful songs by comparison. Or maybe she’s singing because she made a male so miserable.

  30. wolverine on 03/09/2008 at 4:43 am

Anyways, you’re just a game to me now. Just a mouse being played with by a bored cat.
You know, such evident bitterness is unbecoming. Seriously kid, take a good look in the mirror and do some self evaluation. Your ulcers will thank you.

Incidentally, your pal Rexpat has already accused us of this. He didn’t name us specifically, but he was on one of the crazy illuminati believer forums, and he was talking about “angry men’s advocates” which “might be part of the new world order” (I forget his exact words, but it was something to that effect). But trust me Wolverine, every time you accuse more people of being part of the “New World Order”, it doesn’t make them look kooky, it makes you look kooky.

    ….As for correct points….

    Blah. Untrue.

This is not true, because what has contributed greatly to my happiness is never having to worry about whether I’m good enough based on a list of characteristics, nor invisible tests, which are two things which all of you people have foisted upon yourselves (due to the false claim that it will make you a real man if you have the charactaristics on the list and you pass the tests) which would make me absolutely miserable if it were foisted upon me, which is why I decided back in September that I would never allow any of it to be foisted upon me, and is why Masculist Man and every other real man who is truly a real man decided that it would never be foisted upon them, either.

That is the way it is in your world, the World of Wolverine, but in the real world, people are laughing at the ridiculous “NWO” crap that you guys constantly spout, and are wondering what mental disease prompts you people to come up with the crap you come up with.

  33. Mick on 03/10/2008 at 1:30 am

    Luke,
WE WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES, AGAINST POWERS, AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, AGAINST SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES, Ephesians 6:12. Higher and more sinister powers aren’t the illuminists, the new world order or even feminists – they are mere puppets. I’m referring to the spiritual battle over the hearts and minds of men. When I read a quote from you a few months back stating you would rather “rule in hell than serve in heaven” you are basically swearing your allegiance to the enemy. You and the feminist are one in the same – Divide and Conquer – MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.

Stop looking at the instrument and look at the hand that moves the instrument.

    -Mick

  34. wolverine on 03/10/2008 at 4:09 pm

Well Luke, everywhere I go, I only really see 2 others agreeing with you. Even on the MRA forums, MikeUSA and masc are the only ones I really see agreeing with the World of Luke. So, why do you come here smashing your head against a brick wall here.
About conspiracy, I agree with Mick, extept I woudl take it a step farther and upgrade them from puppets to tools. And I also agree that you are the flip side to the feminist coin.
Maybe you just need to go somewhere other than the university you’re in and get your head around you. Not every western woman is a feminist, and not every feminist has it in for men to try to take advantage of him. You’re just so immersed in the extreme teachings that are at your university that you’re poisoned by it, and can think of nothing else. I won’t say that it can’t impact society, or that women being taught what you say they’re being taught there can’t cause a new form of hell to emerge. I’m saying that it’s not everywhere.

  35. Dawn on 03/10/2008 at 4:40 pm

    Luke
Why did you go to this university in the first place?

  36. Orn on 03/12/2008 at 2:23 am

Hi rw_man, thank you for the tip about singing to the lovely ladies on this day. This year, I sent an email and a call to my Russian-speaking cousin, who is the closest to an RW I know at the moment.
I should note that she (having grown up in the USA) is the only person I have told about searching for a RW that did not express a trace of skepticism or sarcasm. Instead, she was immediately encouraging.

Some 8 March soon, I hope to have a lady to serenade.

  37. rw_man on 03/12/2008 at 4:44 pm

    Hi Orn,

I’m really glad to hear that you have someone in your family who supports you on your decision to look in this part of the world for your 2nd half.

I think the momentum is really swinging to our side on this.. and guy’s who were once thought of as desperate fools are now starting to be treated with respect for their foresight and courage to take this step.

Let’s hope that by next March 8th you’ll have a lovely lady to serenade too :)

    GL

  38. Manoah on 03/12/2008 at 11:21 pm

Very good Mick. Same conclusion I arrived at. I 2nd your comments. 1st divide happened in Garden of Eden betwixt God and man. But at least when Adam and Eve left they had love between them. God is love and when we are in love, we come closest to God. Now, attempt is made at 2nd divide betwixt man and woman. 1st fruit – equality with God. 2nd fruit – equality with man.

    Hello;

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I think your site is great.

I hope that I won’t need your services for I am currently dating a magnificent Russian woman.

She has completely captivated me. I’ve actually fallen in love with her. For those who know me, know that seemed to be impossible.

But she did the impossible by being simply what you describe of Russian women at your website.

I know right now that I intend on marrying her someday. I’m a bit leery of marriage so it’ll be a while.

Anyway, I hope she and I work out. If not, I definitely know where I can come to get advice and if all else fails start over with another Russian woman.

BTW, I read the Women’s Day article and caught my girl off guard with a surprise date to Cirque Du Soleil, wishing her a happy Women’s Day.

She couldn’t believe that I knew this about her culture. I was an “All Star” that night. Thanks

Russian women are amazing but really it’s simple; they’re perfectly beautiful and act like a Woman should and treat their man like a Man. It’s no science.

It’s a shame how that just doesn’t exist in the States.

Your website is a great service to Russian women as well as to us real men.

    Good Luck,

    Keith

  40. Allan on 03/28/2008 at 9:09 pm

After living here in Ukraine for almost a year now, I think that I would rather be alone than with our American girls.
I do not know if I will marry here, but I do know that these girls are what I want.
